Management Board of Stalexport Autostrady S.A. with its registered office in Mysłowice (hereinafter: the Issuer) informs that on February 10, 2023 it was informed by the Issuer's subsidiary, i.e. Stalexport Autostrada Małopolska S.A. with its registered office in Mysłowice (hereinafter "SAM S.A."), about receiving on the same day from the Director of the Branch Office of Competition and Consumer Protection in Katowice, acting under the authority of the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (hereinafter "President of the Office"), a request to submit certain information and documents in connection with the preliminary investigation conducted before the President of the Office (the "Request"). The purpose of the investigation is to preliminarily determine whether, in connection with the rules for determining and collecting tolls for the use of the A4 Katowice-Kraków motorway, the provisions of the Act on competition and consumer protection may have been infringed, justifying the initiation of antimonopoly proceedings.
SAM S.A. intends to provide the President of the Office with the information and documents specified in the Request and other information and documents required to the extent provided for by law in the course of the preliminary investigation.
Art. 17 sec. 1 of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) No 596/2014 of 16 April 2014 on market abuse (Market Abuse Regulation) and repealing Directive 2003/6/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council and Commission Directives 2003/124/EC, 2003/125/EC and 2004/72/EC.
