The Management Board of Stalexport Autostrady S.A. with the registered office in Mysłowice (hereinafter: Issuer) informs that on January 31, 2023, Stalexport Autostrada Małopolska S.A. with the registered office in Mysłowice (hereinafter: SAM S.A.), acting in accordance with the provisions of the Concession Agreement described below and the regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure of April 29, 2004 on motorway toll charges, made a request to the General Director for National Roads and Motorways for authorisation of an increase, as of April 3, 2023, of toll rates for vehicles of category 1,2,3,4,5 collected at each toll plaza of the A4 motorway, Katowice-Kraków (in Mysłowice and in Balice), i.e. for vehicles:

  • category 1 (other than motorcycles) - from PLN 13 to PLN 15
  • category 2,3,4,5 - from PLN 40 to PLN 46.

At the same time, SAM S.A. plans to maintain the preferential toll rate for automatic transactions (A4Go, Telepass, videotolling) for category 1 vehicles (other than motorcycles). On the date of introducing the increased rate, the above-mentioned preferential toll rate will be PLN 13 (currently PLN 10).

However, the amount of the discount for vehicles of categories 2 and 3, which will apply to these vehicle categories from April 3, 2023, will be consulted separately with the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways. Currently, for categories 2 and 3 vehicles, a discount of PLN 16 applies to the toll rate of PLN 40.

The Concession Agreement referred to above is the agreement dated on 19 September 1997 (originally entered into between the Issuer and the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Economy) for the construction, through adaptation to the requirements of a toll motorway, of the A4 motorway at the section: Katowice (Murckowska junction, km 340.2) - Kraków (Balice junction, km 401.1) of a length of 60.9 km, and for the operation of the motorway at this section, along with amendments made on the basis of subsequent annexes, the rights and obligations under which were transferred in entirety, on 28 July 2004, from the Issuer to Stalexport Autostrada Małopolska S.A., whereof the Issuer informed in current report no. 59 of 29 July 2004.
