Average Daily Traffic and toll revenue on motorway A4 Katowice-Kraków in 2026Q1

In 2026Q1 the Average Daily Traffic (ADT) on the concession section of the A4 Katowice-Kraków motorway amounted to 45,406 vehicles and was lower by 1.7% than the traffic level recorded in 2025Q1 (46,177 vehicles). In 2026Q1 toll revenue amounted to PLN 145,107 thousand and was higher by 4.7% than in 2025Q1 (PLN 138,653 thousand).

As far as cars are concerned, the ADT decreased from 38,179 vehicles in 2025Q1 to 37,456 vehicles in 2026Q1 (1.9% decrease). In 2026Q1 toll revenue from cars amounted to PLN 92,135 thousand and was higher by 4.3% than in 2025Q1 (PLN 88,361 thousand). Difference between dynamics of toll revenue changes and dynamics of ADT changes is the result of the change in toll rates on April 1st, 2025.

As far as trucks are concerned, the ADT decreased by 0.6%, i.e. from 7,998 vehicles in 2025Q1 to 7,950 vehicles in 2026Q1, while toll revenue from trucks in 2026Q1 amounted to PLN 52,972 thousand and was higher by 5.3% than in 2025Q1 (PLN 50,292 thousand). Difference between dynamics of toll revenue changes and dynamics of ADT changes is the result of increase in toll rates on April 1st, 2025.
