Average Daily Traffic and toll revenue on motorway A4 Katowice-Kraków in 2025Q1-Q3

In 2025Q1-Q3 the Average Daily Traffic (ADT) on the concession section of the A4 Katowice-Kraków motorway amounted to 50,847 vehicles and was higher by 4.2% than the traffic level recorded in 2024Q1-Q3 (48,802 vehicles). In 2025Q1-Q3 toll revenue amounted to PLN 473,021 thousand and was higher by 9.9% than in 2024Q1-Q3 (PLN 430,553 thousand).

As far as cars are concerned, the ADT increased from 40,638 vehicles in 2024Q1-Q3 to 42,640 vehicles in 2025Q1-Q3 (4.9% increase). In 2025Q1-Q3 toll revenue from cars amounted to PLN 312,249 thousand and was higher by 11.8% than in 2024Q1-Q3 (PLN 279,287 thousand). Difference between dynamics of toll revenue changes and dynamics of ADT changes is the result of the change in toll rates on April 1st, 2024 and April 1st, 2025 and also the abolishing, as of January 16th, 2024, the preferential toll rate for vehicles other than motorcycles.

As far as trucks are concerned, the ADT increased by 0.5%, i.e. from 8,164 vehicles in 2024Q1-Q3 to 8,207 vehicles in 2025Q1-Q3, while toll revenue from trucks in 2025Q1-Q3 amounted to PLN 160,772 thousand and was higher by 6.3% than in 2024Q1-Q3 (PLN 151,267 thousand). Difference between dynamics of toll revenue changes and dynamics of ADT changes is the result of increase in toll rates on April 1st, 2024 and April 1st, 2025.
