Average Daily Traffic and toll revenue on motorway A4 Katowice-Kraków in 2025

In 2025 the Average Daily Traffic (ADT) on the concession section of the A4 Katowice-Kraków motorway amounted to 50,241 vehicles and was higher by 4.1% than the traffic level recorded in 2024 (48,285 vehicles). In 2025 toll revenue amounted to PLN 628,469 thousand and was higher by 9.7% than in 2024 (PLN 573,062 thousand).

As far as cars are concerned, the ADT increased from 40,170 vehicles in 2024 to 42,087 vehicles in 2025 (4.8% increase). In 2025 toll revenue from cars amounted to PLN 413,924 thousand and was higher by 11.6% than in 2024 (PLN 370,973 thousand). Difference between dynamics of toll revenue changes and dynamics of ADT changes is the result of the change in toll rates on April 1st, 2024 and April 1st, 2025 and also the abolishing, as of January 16th, 2024, the preferential toll rate for vehicles other than motorcycles.

As far as trucks are concerned, the ADT increased by 0.5%, i.e. from 8,115 vehicles in 2024 to 8,154 vehicles in 2025, while toll revenue from trucks in 2025 amounted to PLN 214,545 thousand and was higher by 6.2% than in 2024 (PLN 202,089 thousand). Difference between dynamics of toll revenue changes and dynamics of ADT changes is the result of increase in toll rates on April 1st, 2024 and April 1st, 2025.
